Keeping your gutters clean

I had my gutters cleaned today.
I hired a pro to do it as I don't do ladders or muck about on the roof.
Between birds building nests and the maple leaves (plants, not the sports team) in the gutters, they were filling up and overflowing.
These are very deep gutters as they serve as the fascia boards to support the soffits.
