That’s a mouthful for what I did today at the radiology department.
I visited the radiology department to be measured and CT scanned to see if the measurements are correct. They will use the measurements next week (Nov. 10) to make an X-ray to see if everything lines up. If so, then they use those measurements to irradiate me 25 times (that’s five weeks worth).
They also showed me the changing room where I trade my pants for surgical pants. However, their idea of Extra Large isn’t mine. I need Extra Extra Large. The Tech suggested that I could bring my own pajama bottoms to use instead.
They also issued me a bar-coded ID card that I’ll use to sign in. I sign in with the card and go to the change room. Then a staffer comes to fetch me.
They’ll be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after. I have the option to come in on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
